Add four 10Gbps USB ports (3x USB-A and 1x USB-C) to a USB-C enabled laptop while powering and charging the host device with Power Delivery 3.0
This USB Type-C Hub with USB-C DP Alt Mode Output and 100W USB Power Delivery pass-through adds four USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) ports (3x USB-A, 1x USB-C) to a USB-C enabled computer. The Hub supports USB-C DP Alt mode on the downstream USB-C port, enabling the connection of USB-C portable monitors or desktop monitors. Connect the USB hub to a USB-C port on a laptop, using the built-in 1ft (30cm) USB-C host cable. Charge a host laptop by connecting the host laptop's USB-C power supply to the USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 port. Backward compatibility with USB 2.0 (480Mbps) devices ensures support for a wide range of modern and legacy USB peripherals.
USB-C DP Alt Mode Video Output
The downstream USB-C port on this USB hub supports both 10Gbps data transfers and USB-C DP Alt Mode, with support for resolutions up to 4K 60Hz. This enables users to connect either a USB data peripheral or a USB-C portable or desktop monitor. The USB-C port outputs 12W (5V/2.4A) of power to support portable USB-C monitors, or power and charge other USB peripherals. This integration is particularly valuable for enhancing productivity in professional settings and delivering either video or USB 10Gbps performance, depending upon user needs.
USB Power Delivery Pass-Through
This USB hub features USB Power Delivery 3.0 pass-through (up to 100W). Connect a power source to the PD pass-through port to power the host, the hub, and an external display, and to enable full charging capabilities for the USB peripheral ports. PD 3.0 features Fast Role Swap (FRS) to prevent USB data disruption when switching power sources (USB-C power adapter to bus power).
Power the hub using a USB-C power adapter connected or with bus-powered alone. The hub requires up to 18W of power. This power is dynamically shared across the downstream ports. For added protection to this USB hub and the connected host device, the USB hub features Overcurrent Protection (OCP). OCP prevents faulty USB peripherals from drawing more power than is safely allocated.
Plug and Play
This device is compatible with all major operating systems, including Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, iPadOS, and Android. The Hub is automatically detected, configured, and installed upon connection to a host computer.
