If you want to avoid cable tangle or the hassle of removing your headphones when you go to get a file, for instance, you can simply disconnect the short end of the cable attached to the headphones and either take them with you or store them in a drawer. The long end of the Digta Headphone 565 Jack cable, the part with the jack plug, can be left connected to your PC or dictation device.

The imitation leather ear cushions that come with the Digta Headphone 565 Jack block noise better than the foam cushioning.
