ICY BOX Mobile Rack 1xSATA 3.5in To 1xSATA Host Trayless 4cm Fan

This mobile rack has an improved and more efficient cooling system. First, the new aluminium enclosure dissipates heat and provides additional stability. Compared to the predecessor model the cooling fan has grown, from 3 cm to 4 cm. The nearly 70 % greater capacity of the fan makes possible slower rotation which results in a more silent operation as well as extended longevity.

Hard disk drives and speeds
This mobile rack is built into a 5.25" bay and can offer place for one 3.5" SATA HDD. The maximum height of one inch (1") can not be exceeded. Data can be transferred in a rate up to 6 Gbit/s thanks to the high quality NSS connector (no scratch SATA) in SATA I/II/III rates.

High quality and improved
The rack is completely made of special aluminium which has a better cooling abilities. The integrated fan received a stretching and is now 4cm instead of 3cm. With it, cooling is improved in 70% and it is more silent. Rubber on the inside of the HDD frame makes sure no vibration sounds will occur.

Technical security up to date
The HDDs can be exchanged in ease at any time thanks to the support of HotSwap and Plug & Play, a lock is available as well to make sure the HDD will not be touched by unauthorised persons. An LED indicator constantly informs us regarding power and HDD access.
