Connects a Larger Display to Your Notebook or Laptop Computer
This external video adapter allows you to reproduce the image on your laptop screen on a larger display. Just connect the U344-001-HDMI-R’s built-in USB-A plug to your computer’s USB port, and connect the adapter’s HDMI port to an HDMI-enabled monitor, HDTV or projector with a user-supplied HDMI cable (sold separately). You can extend video across both screens, do multiple presentations from a single computer, or play video on one display while working on another. You can use up to six U344-001-HDMI-R adapters at the same time, adding as many as six additional displays and extending a video signal across all of them.

Supports High-Definition 1080p Video
The U344-001-HDMI-R supports HD video resolutions up to 2048 x 1152, including 1080p, at 60 Hz. Featuring 512 MB DDR2 SDRAM of memory, the plug-and-play adapter is bus-powered, so no external power adapter is required. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps, and is backward compatible with USB 2.0.

Broadly Compatible with Most Major Operating Systems
The U344-001-HDMI-R works with Windows 7 and later (32- and 64-bit), Intel Mac OS X 10.8.5 and later, Mac 10.11 (32- and 64-bit), and Surface tablets running non-RT Windows 8, 8.1 and 10. Check the owner’s manual for system requirements when using multiple adapters or using the add-on monitor for DVD playback.
