All-rounder in macro-photography
A combination of intermediate rings can be locked in place between the lens and the camera, increasing the distance between the lens and the surface of the sensor. This means that the focusing mechanism extend much further. Effect: Magnification is increased and the depth of field is reduced. A subject in the foreground is separated or dissociated from the background. The intermediate rings can be used with almost all lenses. Small focal lengths in the normal or slightly telephoto range are the most effective for close-ups.
Three intermediate rings for more flexibility
The set comprises three intermediate rings of different sizes. They can be combined as you wish. This means that with the same basic lens, you can have a much greater range of magnification. Please note: They lengthen the light path through the intermediate rings. The exposure time is to be increased, for example, four times longer with a ratio of 1:1. For resting lenses, we recommend the use of a tripod.
Date transfer contacts
To ensure you can work as elegantly and problem-free as possible, all 3 intermediate rings are fitted with gold-plated contacts. This means that EXIF data is transferred and the aperture can still be controlled. Exposure metering in TV and AV mode are not restricted. The auto-focus also works perfectly thanks to these contacts.
