Next-Generation Wi-Fi 6.
The AX3600 Wi-Fi 6 Dual-Band Unified Access Point brings the latest Wi-Fi technology to small-to-medium-sized businesses as well as larger enterprises. It’s part of D-Link’s Unified Wireless solution that allows companies to set up a highly scalable, flexible and manageable Wi-Fi network.
Wi-Fi 6
Next-generation 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 technology provides increased speed, capacity and the latest WPA3 security.
Dual-Band with band steering
Two bands to improve throughput and coverage as well as reduces co-channel interference.
4 x 4 MU-MIMO
Improved efficiency in handling throughput distribution to multiple devices connected to the network.
PoE & flexible installation
Power the device over Ethernet without the need for nearby power outlets with the option for ceiling or wall mounting.
Fast roaming
Allows wireless clients to move freely, jumping from AP to AP without losing connectivity.
Self-healing
Set up a robust and resilient wireless network that can automatically heal itself when an AP fails.

Take Your Business to the Next Level with Wi-Fi 6
Uses the latest Wi-Fi technology to deliver reliable wireless performance and reduce congestion, with combined maximum wireless signal rates of up to 3.6 Gbps (1147 Mbps on 2.4 GHz band and 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz band)2. Together with OFDMA and MU-MIMO support, the DWL-X8630AP gives your business a faster wireless network with higher capacity and efficiency.

Flexible Installation
Power-over-Ethernet support allows the DWL-X8630AP to be connected and powered using a single cable, so it can be installed in areas without power outlets.
Highly Scalable and Centrally Managed
The DWL-X8630AP can be used as a single access point or as part of a centrally managed wireless network with up to 1,024 access points when deployed with D-Link Unified Wireless Controllers.
Self-Healing and Resilient
When working in conjunction with D-Link Unified Wireless Controllers, you can create a network that automatically heals itself when an access point or controller fails, allowing your business to stay online.
Self-Optimised Network
Automatic radio frequency (RF) management provides the best possible coverage for wireless clients by reducing interference when access points are deployed close to each other. When the DWL-X8630AP senses a neighbouring AP nearby, it will automatically select a non-interfering channel.
This significantly reduces RF interference and allows you to deploy APs more densely. To further minimise interference, when a nearby AP is on the same channel, the DWL-X8630AP will automatically adjust its transmission power.
