Verbatim’s color Slim Cases prevent your CDs and DVDs from being scratched or broken during transport. Verbatim’s Slim Cases come in an assortment of colors – blue, green, orange, purple, and pink – so users can color-code your data, music, movies and more.
Organize your optical content
Slim jewel cases are about half the thickness of standard jewel cases. This comes in handy when you have limited space and/or need to archive an extensive library of music, movies, or files. Cases come in various colors, which allow you to color-code your content, and clear front lids allow quick recognition of the artwork and discs.
Superior storage
Paper sleeves can expose discs to air and humidity, while plastic cases are more durable. Plus, the trays’ interlocking teeth secure discs in place, so when you transport your discs, you don’t have to worry about them sliding out of the package
Personalization
With half the depth but the same height and width as standard jewel cases, slim cases let you create a customized sheet of album art. Just slide the artwork into the half-moon tabs on the front lid, which will hold the sheet in place.
Slim Cases vs. Jewel Cases
Slim Cases
Slim cases have two pieces: the lid and back cover, into which the tray is built. They measure 5.59 inch (width) × 4.92 inch (height) × 0.2 inch (depth). They have enough space under the half-moon tabs for a sheet of customized album artwork. They also come in a variety of shades, and let users store twice as many discs in the same amount of space as jewel cases.
Jewel Cases
Jewel cases are the traditional option. They have three pieces – the lid, back cover, and media tray. When assembled, a case measures 5.59 in (width) X 4.92 in (height) X 0.39 in (depth). The front lid is clear and designed to hold booklets, which contain lyric sheets, liner notes, and more. The media tray is commonly black and removable, so a thin card may be inserted behind it to display things like copyrights and track listings.
