The U344-001-DP-4K USB 3.0 SuperSpeed to DisplayPort Dual-Monitor External Video Graphics Card Adapter allows you to connect a UHD 4K x 2K DisplayPort monitor, projector or television to your computer or laptop’s USB 3.0 port, even if your device’s graphics card doesn’t support UHD resolutions.

Ideal for office workstations and on-the-road presentations where using multiple computers isn’t an option, this cable lets you extend video across the primary display to a second display, clone the same video on both displays, or set the new display as the primary. It resumes automatically from hibernation and suspend modes. You can add as many as six total U344-001-DP-4K adapters at a time.

The U344-001-DP-4K supports UHD video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) @ 30 Hz, as well as 5.1 surround sound audio and video streaming up to 1080p. Using the latest USB 3.0 SuperSpeed standard, it shares data at speeds up to 5 Gbps, which is ten times faster than USB 2.0.

The bus-powered adapter is ready to use right from the box. Just install the driver using the included CD, and connect the unit to your source’s USB port and your display’s DisplayPort cable. Backward compatible with USB 2.0. Features 512 MB DDR2 SDRAM of memory. Compatible with the latest Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as Surface tablets.
