It is simply connected via USB 3.0 to a PC, media player or smart-TV once the 2.5" SATA hard disk was installed into it without the use of any tool. Thanks to its modern interface, the transfer rates reach 5 GBit/second in order to provide high speed working environment. But no worries, the old standards are still supported since USB is downwards compatible.

Even though the enclosure seems slim an HDD up to 9 mm high can be built into it. The stable aluminum-frame in combination with the silicone sleeve renders the IB-254U3 exceptionally protected against shock and scratches. Ideal for mobile use both private as well as business.

The USB 3.0 standard delivers a transfer rate of up to 5 Gbit/s and does not leave you behind when things need to happen quickly. Especially with larger files the super speed of USB 3.0 is most noticable. Particularly as it is backwards compatible with the previous versions, USB 1.1 and USB 2.0

In order to minimize scratches and shock damage, the IB-254U3 received a nice gray silicone sleeve. with it, this enclosure is a good companion on the way. HDDs up to 9.5 mm high can be mounted inside this thin enclosure.
