The Braun Scouting Cam Black800 WiFi delivers excellent image and video recordings in both night and day. With the free app and WiFi, you can access the camera directly via your Smartphone or Tablet (P2P connection only in range of the camera).
The use of Hunting or Trail Cams is clearly defined: a trail camera is used when owners of a forest area, tenants of hunting districts, or foresters want to survey game in their wooded area. Thanks to so-called „camera traps“, it’s now possible to observe wild animals day or night such as foxes, deer or wild boar, while going unnoticed.
As a manufacturer of photographic products, Braun Photo Technik is expanding their assortment of currently 4 Trail Cams, with the Scouting Cam Black800 WiFi. With the help of the free app, the Smartphone can connect to the camera and access the images. It is a P2P connection in the range of the camera. The camera cannot be integrated into the network. Recordings can be viewed as well as settings adjusted without having to dismount the camera. The app also shows a live image to assist in adjusting the view. A remote control to activate the WiFi is included in delivery.
The Scouting Cam Black800 WiFi has a high quality 8 Megapixel CMOS image sensor as well as a PIR movement sensor with a detection radius of 120° and three sensitivity settings. The Scouting Cam offers 34 black IR LEDs for nighttime recording, with a trigger distance of 20 meters. The trigger time is mere 0,6 seconds, while the trigger intervals can be set between 5 seconds and 60 minutes.
The compact and waterproof camera housing (95x137,5x64mm) fulfills the Protection Class IP66 standard. The 488 gram heavy Braun Scouting Cam Black800 WiFi offers a 2.0‘‘ color display for image control of pictures and videos which can be stored on an SD card (max 32GB, JPG- und MP4-Format). Even useful time-lapse recordings (video or photo/5 sec-60 minutes) are possible with the Scouting Cam. Standby time is approximately six months. The working temperatures range from -20° C to + 60°C. The Braun Scouting Cam Black800 WiFi also has an integrated microphone, a loudspeaker and a password protection, and can offer information such as date, time, moon phase and temperature.
