The ABC-01-M12 configuration backup and restoration tool attaches to the RS-232 console port to save and load configuration settings. It is designed for use with select models within Moxa's TN series of Ethernet switches (TN-5500 and above). This simple yet powerful tool makes it much easier to back up a switch's system parameters, or even replace an existing switch with a new switch. With this accessory, you can quickly re-install a substitute switch (of the same model) or recover the entire system configuration, including IP address, if a switch failure occurs.
